Soon yesterday fades -
like sand in desert breezes -
liberty today

In 1908, the town of Kolmanskop in southern Namibia had become a profitable gold mine. Abandoned in 1954, the homes, hospitals, theaters, and factory buildings were left at the mercy of the Namib desert. The strong desert winds have filled the rooms of these deserted buildings with mountains of sand.

The Akshardham Temple, represent 10,000 years of Indian culture through its beautiful monument, fantastic exhibitions and 100 acres of lush lawns. It’s extraordinary architecture constructed by an estimated 11,000 artisans and volunteers. The temple is located near the Nizamuddin Bridge along the bank of River Yamuna, New Delhi.
